Add-ons // Single sign on

Timestamp offers single sign-on capabilities by integrating with your Azure Active Directory, Office 365 or Google apps accounts. Once enabled your users can sign-in using their existing credentials and we can also automatically import users from your directories.

Enabling a single sign-on provider

  1. Go to your Add-ons page, using the left navigation menu

  2. Click 'Enable' on the Office 365 / Google Apps add-on.

  3. Enter your domain. We automatically pick this from your email address, change if this is not correct

  4. Choose your provider from the drop down

  5. Click 'connect now' and follow the instructions from your provider to enable support

Once this process has been completed you will be able to begin signing in using your existing email and password, which is done by enterign just your email on the Timestamp sign in page and clicking 'Sign in'

Importing users

Users can be automatcally imported from your directory once it has been connected by enabling the 'Users' capability listed in the settings of the add on.

All users will be imported, and any existing users will be matched on their email address. Once this has been enabled you will not be able to edit these users' email addresses or profile as they will be automatically imported from your directory.
